Jan Schill

In Colorado we had a lady that Ashley knows do our pictures.
I just got the disk in the mail yesterday so here are a few of my favorites.

I chose these because the coloring is a bit different from my usual stuff.

[Goodbye]

Our good friend Lindsey who I have known since the 8th grade is now moving back to Alabama. She was always there with good advice when I needed her most and will miss her greatly! We had a BLAST every lunch period with us 4 girls acting like idiots!
Here are a few pictures from her going away dinner last night.

Ducks

We made plans to go to the duck park on Friday. The day was cloudy, but in Arizona, there is no such thing as rain. The whole day was fine, but once we drove out to get our friend Amanda and her son Daniel... it's raining! God must have been on our side because once we got there it stopped. But we run into another problem... we forgot the bread! Well luckily there was only one duck. Yes, sad that we drove all that way to see ONE stinkin duck. (I forgot to mention how LONG it took us to get there because we got lost)!
We decide to let Noah go run around in a grass field. On our way we see two tiny baby ducks on the side walk. One looked like it's neck was broken and all sprawled out on the ground. It was moving, but looked as if it were going to die (I'll spare you the pictures of those). The other looked like it was consoling the other duck in it's slow painful death.
At the end there were a few more ducks in the water that Noah got to watch.
Only, something good can never happen today without something bad. These really annoying kids kept spraying silly string in water! A: way to make the place look like a dump (as if Casa Grande is a luxurious town to begin with) and B: What if a duck were to eat that?
All in all, it was pretty fun and we got a few cute pictures.

My kid is mean!

Colorado

So last week on Sunday we drove 8 hours to Durango, Colorado. Noah was surprisingly good on the way up there (which I was very thankful for).
For anyone who has ever been to Durango knows that it is an extremely small town, but we managed to have everyday's schedule filled. We shopped downtown in their Oh-So-Cute stores. We walked for a little ways down the river and saw some rafters while we were at it. We took the 5 minute walk through the mall (again for anyone who knows about Durango). We went around town taking pictures and even had a friend of Ashley's who is a photographer do some pictures of us as well (we'll post those once I get them). We went out to lunch almost everyday, and whooped her parents at Five Crowns... a card game. My dad drove up on Friday and spent the weekend there which was nice for him. We drove back on Sunday and on our way stopped by the 4 corners (which was not all that you think it's cracked up to be).
Anyway... here I am at home now posting this blog...
